Currently, we are in search of an exceptional and driven Project Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Logistics Coordinator at Gillespie & Powers, you'll play a pivotal role in advancing our company's mission and leading our team to greater achievements. Job Responsibilities

  • Develop a preliminary project plan.
  • Establish project milestones and deadlines.
  • Forecast realistic budgets and tracking costs as the project proceeds.
  • Lead a team towards shared goals and objectives.
  • Create, file and maintain detailed documentation.
  • Delegate tasks when necessary to the most appropriate team members.
  • Create a schedule to track and share progress with team members. It should include milestones, deadlines, objectives, completed tasks, and works in progress.
  • Create and maintain budget for each project and track costs.
  • Mitigate risks.
  • Anticipate and resolve issues as they arise to include team conflicts.
  • Prepare daily/weekly reports.
  • Manage resources.
  • Conduct post-project analyses to determine effectiveness and identify areas of needed improvement.
  • Build a product development strategy.
  • Collaborate between departments.
  • Proactively identify improvement needs.
  • Understands how to communicate information tactfully to develop lasting relationships with client personnel that foster client ties.
  • Manage day‐to‐day operational aspects of the project and scope of work.
  • Creates and executes project work plans and revises to meet changing requirements.
  • Develop, review, and submit all necessary documentation from start to finish for the project including estimation of cost, bid to customer, recommended budget changes, and all project documentation.
  • Effectively applies Gillespie & Powers methodology and project standards.
  • Track's team progress, hours, and expenses to control and forecast project's budget.
  • Facilitate meetings internally and with customers to keep everyone well informed of changes and project plans.
  • Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and build relationships with each client's business, organization, and objectives.
  • Effectively utilizes each team member to his/her fullest potential.
  • Mitigates team conflict and communication problems while motivating teams to work together in an efficient manner.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Microsoft Excel, MS Windows & Office, and AutoCAD required.
  • Ability to apply effective risk management and communication techniques.
  • Ability to exhibit leadership, communication, problem-solving, delegation and decision-making skills.
  • Lean Six Sigma preferred but not required.
  • Ability to apply effective risk management and communication techniques.
  • CPM (Credited Project Manager) certification.
  • Familiar with construction processes, practices, and procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem solving skills, and able to create solutions to challenges.
  • A team player with outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and 5+ years of construction experience.
  • Microsoft Excel, MS Windows & Office, and AutoCAD proficiency.
  • CPM (Credited Project Manager) certification a plus.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional certification a plus.

  • 50% travel.
