Industrial Sales Engineer
Job Summary:
Example: We are looking for a skilled Accounts Payable Clerk to be responsible for processing all invoices received for payment and for undertaking the payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process incoming invoices.
- Utilize three way match to ensure accuracy of vendor invoicing
- Create a daily report of completed records.
- Process monthly statements.
- Request missing items from Vendors
- Ensure proper coding of invoices
- Process review of quarterly reports, as needed.
- Send ACH remittance emails and maintain weekly remittance log.
- Research and respond to all email inquiries from vendors.
- Special projects as assigned
Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge:
- Proven work experience as Accounts Payable Clerk.
- Understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Advanced understanding of Excel.
Education & Experience:
- BS in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration. - Degree not required
Other:
- Overtime or weekend hours can occur during training, special projects, or peak periods like year-end closing.

Key Responsibilities:
- Continue to expand new business opportunities.
- Increase market share and sales by consulting with customers process needs and technical application support.
- Coordinate with our engineering/business development teams to communicate feedback and new product opportunities.
- Proactively initiate contact with potential customers and develop relationships that advance company's goals.
- Maintain existing client relationships through regular visits to support existing operational needs and propose new, innovative solutions.
- Seek out and understand customer's business challenges and provide solutions that drive business growth.
- Able to effectively communicate product solutions to different audiences across the organization through Presentation, Phone, Training, and other media sources.
- Present company's product portfolio to existing and potential customers to increase sales.
- Develop, implement, and communicate sales strategies to achieve sales quotas and meet customer's needs.
- Provide training to new and existing sales representatives to ensure they are up to date on company products, technical knowledge, and policies.
- Track all sales activities in company CRM system and keep current by updating account information regularly.
- Meet and/or exceed quotas.
- Coordinate with other team members and departments to optimize the sales effort.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Engineering or related field
- Customer Service experience a plus
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering experience a plus
- Combustion and/or Furnace experience a plus
- 5+ years of industrial sales experience
Skills & Knowledge:
- Ability to write and present proposals.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas.
- Proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Highly self-motivated
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and stay updated on all current software and applications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong customer management skills, including a passion for sustainability, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication of solution value.
- Proficiency in CRM, Power BI, and MS Office.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with teams.
- Up to 70% local travel required for client visits and new sales opportunities in your territory.
